Shelf Made Women
Shelf Made Women was a podcast created by Kati aka "Shelf Made Woman" on instagram. We collaborated on creating a podcast cover that emulated her goals of a podcast exploring the intersection of people, society, and literature.
One of Kati's inspirations for this podcast was "The Yellow Wallpaper" by Charlotte Perkins Gillman. With this in mind I wanted to create a cover that felt reminiscent of classic literature, as well as work with the idea of wallpaper with a significant meaning.
The chrysanthemum held personal significance for Kati, as well as represents themes of well-being and friendship. Both being goals for the "Shelf Made Women" podcast.
I also chose to incorporate a bookish element with the "SMW" bookmark tag that lends itself to being used for other elements when promoting on social media.
